(Portland, OR)  --  Police are searching for a dog that was inside a car that was stolen on Hayden Island.  The Portland Police Bureau says the two-year-old black and white chihuahua named Betty was inside a 2001 VW Jetta yesterday afternoon when someone stole it.  The dog's owner tells FOX-12 that Betty is a service dog who helps her with PTSD.  She says she had just stepped away from her car for a matter of minutes when the car and Betty were stolen.  The car has Oregon license plate number 380 HNW.
