(Portland, OR) -- Sentencing is scheduled early next year for a former Portland nurse convicted of heroin trafficking. The U.S. District Attorney's office in Oregon says 60-year-old Rene Elene Griffin Nunn pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess controlled substances with the intent to distribute. Police arrested her in February of 2018 after finding 93 grams of heroin in her purse. Nunn worked as a nurse at Adventist Medical Center.
