Michael Wolfe No Longer Charged With Aggravated Murder In Karissa Fretwell's Death

(McMinnville, OR)  --  A man accused of killing a mother and her son in Yamhill County back in May is facing a revised set of charges in the case.  Michael Wolfe is no longer facing the count of aggravated murder in the death of 25-year-old Karissa Fretwell.  Prosecutors amended the indictment to conform with Senate Bill 1013.  Wolfe has now been charged with murder in the death of Karissa Fretwell, and aggravated murder for the death of three-year-old Billy Fretwell.  Under the changes to the state law, Wolfe cannot be sentenced to die for the mother's murder, but he can receive the death penalty for the boy's murder.
