Vancouver K-9 To Retire After Attacking Bystander

(Vancouver, WA)  --  A Vancouver police dog is retiring from the K-9 program after attacking a bystander during an arrest in September.  The Columbian reports the dog named Doc did not respond to remedial training following the event downtown on September 23rd.  He's now living with a dog handler until authorities find a permanent home for him.  The dog was caught on video attacking the bystander, who suffered minor injuries.
