Federal Prosecutors Indict Three Gang Members

(Portland, OR)  --  Federal prosecutors are announcing charges against three gang members accused of committing three separate murders in Portland.  The U.S. Attorney's office announced the indictments yesterday against three members of the Hoover Crips street gang, which authorities say has been operating in Portland since the early 80s.  The federal racketeering indictment lists Lorenzo Jones, Javier Hernandez and Ronald Rhodes.  Authorities say the indictments are aimed at dismantling the gang's leadership.
