(Portland, OR)  --  A 24-hour vigil is underway at the University of Portland to honor former students in the armed services.  The Veterans Day vigil at the school's "Praying Hands" memorial statue began yesterday and ends this morning at 11 a.m.  The vigil will conclude with the university's annual Veterans Day ceremony.
