(Salem, OR)  --  One woman is dead following an auto-pedestrian crash in Salem.  Police say the woman was walking across Portland Road in a marked crosswalk near the Wayside Terrace intersection when a driver struck her.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police say the driver stayed at the crash site and is cooperating with investigators.
