(Salem, OR)  --  Three people are dead and three others are injured following a crash on Highway 221 near Dayton.  The Oregon State Police says 69-year-old Susie Valdez of Salem and her 70-year-old passenger Robert Valdez were killed in the crash yesterday morning when another vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and hit them head-on.  A girl in the other vehicle also died.  The driver of the other vehicle and two of her passengers were all hospitalized with serious injuries.
