(Dallas, OR)  --  Authorities are investigating reports of a large fireball falling to earth in southwestern Polk County.  The Polk County Sheriff's office says a Dallas resident sent in some pictures last night that appeared to show an object descending toward the earth with a cloud-like trail.  The sheriff's office sent out a Life Flight helicopter to make sure it wasn't a plane crash.  Police say they'll continue their search during daylight hours today.
