(Portland, OR)  --  One man is seriously injured after a garbage truck ran over his legs while he was sleeping near the Eastbank Esplanade.  The Portland Police Bureau says the man was sleeping beneath a blue tarp near a dumpster early yesterday morning when the garbage truck driver backed over him.  He was rushed to a hospital with severe injuries to his legs.  An investigation is ongoing.
