(Portland, OR)  --  A man is in police custody after allegedly pointing a BB gun at deputies in what police say appeared to be a mental health crisis.  Police responded to Southwest Portland's Garden Home neighborhood yesterday morning on reports that 34-year-old Daniel Bean was making "gun gestures" at passing vehicles.  Police say Bean then pointed a BB rifle at responding deputies, who shut down several streets and brought in a Crisis Negotiation Unit.  Police were able to get him into custody by about 1 p.m.
