(Portland, OR)  --  A man is facing charges after allegedly strangling a woman and then locking her in the trunk of his car.  The Portland Police Bureau says officers arrested 36-year-old Jarod Scott Bowman Saturday in connection to the domestic violence-related kidnapping earlier that day.  Police responded to the area of Southeast 104th Avenue and Southeast Division Street Saturday morning on reports of a possible kidnapping and found the victim severely injured in the trunk of a car.  She was rushed to a hospital and is expected to survive.
