(Portland, OR)  --  Oregon residents are getting more time to buy health insurance.  The deadline to enroll in a health plan through the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace is being extended until 11:59 tonight.  The original deadline was just before midnight on Sunday night.  After the deadline people can only buy into health insurance when they lose access to other coverage or have a major life change, like adding a child to their family.
