(Portland, OR)  --  New details are coming to light regarding a former employee of University of Portland accused of assaulting a school administrator.  Police say 52-year-old Patrick Ell brutally beat his former co-worker Matthew Rigg with a baseball bat outside Rigg's home Friday night.  Police arrested Ell later that night on a charge of second-degree assault.  Police say Ell was angry about the school's investigation into a claim of sexual assault made by one of Ell's family members.  Rigg was among the university employees who determined the allegation lacked merit.
