(Portland, OR) -- A wanted man is facing new charges after allegedly smashing the windows of a business in southeast Portland and then running into traffic on I-5, causing a two-vehicle crash. The Portland Police Bureau says officers responded to Pratt and Larson Ceramics yesterday afternoon on reports that a man had used a mallet to break two of their windows and then fled on foot. Police caught up to the 24-year-old suspect Chandler Miller nearby, prompting him to run onto northbound I-5 to try to escape. One vehicle slowed down to try to avoid hitting him, causing a second vehicle to rear-end that vehicle. Police eventually were able to take Miller into custody.
