(Portland, OR)  --  A domestic violence suspect is behind bars after allegedly trying to flee police on a stolen kayak.  The Portland Police Bureau says 24-year-old Ejonte Paden was wanted on multiple charges when police tried to pull him over yesterday.  Police say Paden fled from police, eventually abandoning his vehicle and running toward the Columbia River, where he stole a kayak and tried to paddle downriver.  Police worked with first responders and the sheriff's office to get Paden into custody.
