(Salem, OR)  --  Two injuries are being reported after a vehicle collided with an Amtrak train near Salem.  Police say the vehicle was on the tracks just south of Salem yesterday morning when a southbound Amtrak train struck it.  Police say the crossing lights were flashing and the arms were down when the front portion of the vehicle somehow ended up on the tracks.  A man and woman inside the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  No one on the train was injured.
