(Brooks, OR)  --  An 81-year-old woman is dead following a crash near Brooks.  The Oregon State Police says the crash happened Wednesday night on Highway 99 East.  Police say a pickup truck was stopped in a southbound lane while waiting to make a left turn onto Topaz Street Northeast when 81-year-old Delores Sam crashed into him.  She died at the scene.  The driver of the pickup truck suffered only minor injuries.
