(Coos Bay, OR)  --  A 74-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car while walking near the Sunset Memorial Park cemetery.  The Oregon State Police says Daniel Fowers was walking across coastal Highway 101 just south of Coos Bay early Saturday morning when a driver crashed into him.  Fowers was pronounced dead at the scene.
