PPB Chief Outlaw Accepts New Job As Philadelphia Police Commissioner

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Police Chief Danielle Outlaw is stepping down to accept a job as Philadelphia's first black female police commissioner.  Outlaw announced the new job yesterday after more than two years serving as Portland Police Chief.  She'll step into the role of commissioner in Philadelphia in February.  Deputy Police Chief Jami Resch will be sworn in as Portland's new police chief in a private ceremony today at noon.
