(Portland, OR)  --  Police are investigating more than half a dozen New Year's Day shootings in the Portland area.  The Portland Police Bureau says they responded to seven separate shootings early yesterday morning.  A total of four people were injured in the shootings.  Police don't believe any of the shootings were connected.
