Woman Allegedly Stabbed Boyfriend's Dog During Argument

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Arraignment is scheduled next week for a Vancouver, Washington woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend's dog during a domestic disturbance.  Police say 29-year-old Renae Lynn Riesen will be arraigned on January 16th on a charge of first-degree animal cruelty related to domestic violence.  Police say she and her boyfriend got into an argument at their home last Tuesday, prompting her boyfriend to leave the home.  He returned to find his seven-year-old French bulldog bleeding heavily from stab wounds.  The dog suffered critical injuries but survived.  Bail has been set at ten-thousand dollars.
