(Vancouver, WA)  --  Clark County Fire District 6 is welcoming its first-ever female fire chief.  Kristan Maurer is set to be sworn in as chief today.  Maurer becomes the second woman to ever be sworn in as fire chief in Washington state's history.  She's worked as a firefighter for 17 years.
