(Albany, OR)  --  A 61-year-old man is dead after crashing his car in Albany.  The Linn County Sheriff's office says Joel Hirsch was driving north on Riverside Drive near Stellmacher Drive Tuesday night when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree head-on.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police say he was wearing his seatbelt and that the car's airbags did deploy properly.
