(Portland, OR)  --  Former Portland Mayor Sam Adams is throwing his hat into the city council race.  KATU reports Adams plans to challenge Commissioner Chloe Eudaly for her seat.  Adams has reportedly begun the process of filing for candidacy and is choosing to collect signatures rather than paying a fee to appear on the ballot.
