(Portland, OR)  --  Police say they've arrested a suspect accused of stabbing an off-duty fire lieutenant at a bar in southwest Portland.  Officers arrested 30-year-old Carroll McClendon yesterday on charges of assault and unlawful use of a weapon.  Police say the victim was a 23-year veteran of Portland Fire & Rescue.  He was at the Kingston Sports Bar and Grill on Southwest Morrison street around eight o'clock Saturday night when McClendon allegedly walked in off the street and stabbed him.  The fire lieutenant was treated at a hospital and is now recovering at home.
