(Hood River, OR)  --  Residents in Hood River are once again free to drink the tap water.  The Hood River County Sheriff's office lifted its 48-hour boil water advisory yesterday after tests confirmed there was no harmful bacteria in the water system.  Authorities issued the boil water notice Monday after the downtown area lost water pressure due to a leak.
