Catlin Gabel School Hit With Another Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Abuse

(Portland, OR)  --  A Portland private school is facing another lawsuit connected to allegations of widespread sexual abuse there.  A group of four former Catlin Gabel students filed a lawsuit against the school yesterday, accusing four former staff members of sexual abuse.  The lawsuit claims one of the staff members gave one of the students marijuana and nitrous oxide.  He's also accused of touching the boy inappropriately, making sexual comments and propositions.  Another former student filed a lawsuit against the school earlier this month, saying she was sexually abuse more than 80 times inside her classroom when she was just eleven-years-old.  An investigation by the Washington County Sheriff's Office last year found that at least 21 former employees at Catlin Gabel are accused of sexually abusing students during a period from the 1970s through 2016.
