(Salem, OR)  --  One man is dead following a crash on I-5 near Salem.  The Oregon State Patrol says the crash happened Saturday morning near milepost 251 when a pickup truck left its lane and crashed into another pickup being driven by 67-year-old David Thaler.  Thaler was pronounced dead at the scene.  The other driver was not injured.  An investigation is ongoing.
