(Portland, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is announcing a deal between environmental groups and the state's forest industry.  Governor Brown announced yesterday that Oregon's leading timber companies have signed a memorandum of understanding with environmental organizations to create a science-based forest management plan for the state.  Governor Brown says the deal will not affect the state legislature's cap-and-trade bill.
