Concordia University Closing Due To Debt, Low Enrollment

(Portland, OR)  --  Concordia University of Portland is shutting its doors after more than a century due to debt and lack of enrollment.  The college announced yesterday that its board of regents has voted to cease operations at the school by the end of this spring's semester.  The school says it's facing mounting financial challenges as well as a changing educational landscape.  The Lutheran college was founded in 1905.
