(Portland, OR)  --  Mayor Ted Wheeler is unveiling the first draft of his Climate Emergency Declaration.  Wheeler's office released a statement yesterday saying the draft is aimed at detailing how the city plans to respond to climate change.  Among the action points listed in the draft is a plan to pursue partnerships with youth-serving organizations to support a youth-led summit on climate in 2020.  The public is encouraged to read the draft and submit comments, edits and feedback at www.portlandoregon.gov.
