MAX Stabbing Suspect Waives Right To Testify

(Portland, OR)  --  2017 MAX stabbing suspect Jeremy Christian is waiving his right to testify in his defense.  Christian's lawyers announced in court yesterday that Christian will not be testifying.  Christian told the judge that he was afraid his testimony could "open up a can of worms" if he gets sent back to prison.  Christian is accused of stabbing Taliesin Namkai-Meche [[Tal-EE-shin NOMM-kai MAY-chay]] and Ricky Best to death and injuring Micah Fletcher on a MAX train in 2017 after they stood up for two Muslim women whom Christian was verbally assaulting.
