U.S. District Attorney Of Oregon Investigating Allegations Against West Linn PD

(West Linn, OR)  --  A federal investigation is being launched into allegations of racial discrimination and wrongful arrest against the West Linn Police Department.  U.S. District Attorney of Oregon Bill Williams agreed yesterday to a request from Clackamas and Multnomah County District Attorneys John Foote and Rod Underhill to investigate whether any federal crimes were committed.  A recently filed lawsuit claims Former Police Chief Terry Timeus worked with the owner of Fesser's employer, A&B Towing, to have Fesser arrested.  The lawsuit says the owner of A&B Towing was worried that Fesser might sue the company for racial discrimination.
