Jurors Return To Courtroom After Convicting MAX Stabbing Suspect

(Portland, OR)  --  Jurors in the murder case against 2017 MAX stabbing suspect Jeremy Christian will return to the courtroom tomorrow after finding him guilty on all 12 counts against him.  The Oregonian reports jurors will be tasked with making findings about Christian's crimes and who he is as a person.  Those findings will help the judge in the case determine Christian's sentence.  The jury deliberated for about eleven hours over two days to unanimously convict Christian on Friday of 12 counts, including first-degree murder, attempted murder and hate crimes.  Christian stabbed Taliesin Namkai-Meche and Ricky Best to death and injured Micah Fletcher on a MAX train in 2017 after they stood up for two Muslim women whom Christian was verbally assaulting.
