(Portland, OR)  --  Portland is being called one of the best places in the nation in which to start a small business.  A new study from Lending-Tree-dot-com ranks the Rose City fifth in the U.S. for metro areas where entrepreneurs might succeed with their small business.  Lending Tree analyzed several factors including the percentage of profitable businesses and the percentage of businesses five years old or younger.  Seattle came in first place, followed by Denver.
