Memorial Held For Slain Transgender Teen

(Vancouver, WA)  --  Friends and family members are saying their final goodbyes to a transgender teenager from Vancouver, Washington who was murdered in an alleged hate crime last year.  A memorial service took place last night for 18-year-old Nikki Kuhnhausen.  Authorities found her body in December after she went missing last June.  Police have arrested 27-year-old David Bogdanov on charges of second-degree murder and malicious harassment for her death.  Investigators believe Bogdanov strangled Kuhnhausen to death after she revealed to him that she'd been born male.  The two had reportedly been talking on Snapchat and had agreed to meet up on June 6th, which was the last day Kuhnhausen was seen alive.
