(Keizer, OR)  --  A Silverton Police sergeant is facing several charges after allegedly threatening his wife with a knife and then barricading himself inside their home in Keizer.  Police arrested 60-year-old Sergeant Rene Bravo Monday night following the domestic disturbance at a home off Lakeport Street North.  Bravo's wife says she also struggled to gain control of a loaded rifle that Bravo had at some point during the argument.  Two children were home at the time of the incident.  Responding officers say Bravo was wearing a ballistic carrier vest when they arrived and he refused to comply with commands, barricading himself inside the home instead.  Police eventually sent in a SWAT k9 to subdue Bravo and take him into custody.
