(Salem, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into a deadly hit and run in Salem.  Police say a male pedestrian was killed in the hit and run Tuesday night in the area of McGilchrist Street Southeast and 22nd Street Southeast.  Investigators say it appears the man was walking his bike along the shoulder of the road when a vehicle crashed into him and then kept going.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.  Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact police.
