(Salem, OR) -- A woman is facing charges in connection to a crash that killed three Salem residents including a child near Dayton back in November. Oregon State Police say officers arrested 33-year-old Krista Marie Ann Ashley late last week on three counts of first-degree manslaughter, one count of second-degree assault and one count of third-degree assault DUII. Police say Ashley was intoxicated while driving on Highway 221 on November 18th when she crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a Chevy Cruze head-on. The 69-year-old Chevy driver Susie Valdez and her 70-year-old passenger Robert Valdez were both killed in the crash, along with a girl riding in Ashley's car. Three others including Ashley were hospitalized for injuries.
