(Portland, OR)  --  Two more candidates are throwing their hats into the race for Clackamas County Sheriff.  The Oregonian reports Clackamas County police captain Kevin Poppen and Oregon State Police Detective Roger Edwards have announced their candidacy for the race.  They join three other employees of the sheriff's office who have announced plans to run, including Sergeant Lynn Schoenfeld, Lieutenant Brian Jensen and Undersheriff Angela Brandenburg.  Sheriff Craig Roberts officially announced his intentions to retire yesterday.
