(Portland, OR) -- Hospitals in Portland and Vancouver are taking extra precautions to protect patients from the novel coronavirus. KATU reports hospitals are now screening patients for the virus and limiting visitations. PeaceHealth in Vancouver is restricting people under the age of 18 from visiting the hospital and is also requiring patients showing symptoms of COVID-19 to wear a mask. Currently, four hospitals in the Portland area are caring for patients who have tested positive for the virus.
