(Salem, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is banning large gatherings in hopes of slowing the spread of the coronavirus.  Brown announced yesterday that gatherings and events with more than 250 people will be prohibited in Oregon for the next four weeks, starting immediately.  The announcement came hours after Washington state Governor Jay Inslee enacted a similar ban in the Seattle Metropolitan area.
