(Stevenson, WA)  --  One person is dead and another is hospitalized following a crash on SR-14 in the Columbia River Gorge.  The Washington State Patrol says the crash happened yesterday afternoon at milepost 35 near Beacon Rock.  The crash left the highway shut down in both directions for several hours.  It's not yet clear what led to the collision.
