(Salem, OR) -- Governor Kate Brown is giving the Oregon Attorney General the go-ahead to go after retailers engaging in price gouging to profit off the coronavirus outbreak. There have been reports of some retailers charging twice the price for toilet paper and four times the price for rubbing alcohol. The new order signed by Brown yesterday only applies to essential items. The Attorney General's office has set up the hotline 503-378-8442 and you can also file a complaint online.
