(Portland, OR) -- A woman who stole more than ten-thousand dollars in donations from the Portland Women's March is facing nearly two years in prison. A judge sentenced 39-year-old Rebekah Brewis yesterday after she pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree aggravated theft. Court records say Brewis collected donations for the group from the community and then put that money into her own bank account. When the organizers of the march asked for the money, Brewis refused to transfer the funds.
