Two-Alarm Fire Injures Six At NW Portland Apartment Building

(Portland, OR)  --  An investigation is ongoing into a two-alarm fire that injured half a dozen people at a high-rise apartment building in northwest Portland.  Firefighters responded to the Portland Towers Apartments late Friday night to find flames shooting out the window of an eighth-floor unit.  Fire officials say the building does not have a sprinkler system.  Six people were hospitalized for smoke inhalation, and several people are displaced.
