Oregon Residents Under Orders To Stay Home

(Portland, OR)  --  The state of Oregon is under a stay-at-home order.  Governor Kate Brown issued an executive order yesterday directing residents to stay home "to the maximum extent possible" to help fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.  Residents are ordered to stay at home except to engage in essential activity, which includes grocery shopping, doctors appointments and essential work duty.  Residents can also still go outside for a walk or to garden but have to stay at least six feet away from others.
