Multnomah County Looks To Hire Temps To Set Up Shelter Spaces

(Portland, OR)  --  Multnomah County is looking to hire several temporary workers to help set up emergency shelter space for the homeless amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.  County Chair Deborah Kafoury says they're looking for workers to help convert unused public buildings and hotel settings into shelters.  The Jupiter Hotel on East Burnside is one such space.  The hotel has donated more than 80 rooms to be used as shelter for the homeless.  To learn more about the job or to apply, visit the county's website.
