(Portland, OR)  --  Portland's Powell's Books is bringing 100 laid off employees back onto its payroll thanks to a boom in online orders.  The bookseller released a statement Friday saying it's been able to rehire 100 of its employees at full time status with benefits thanks to online orders.  Powell's had previously closed its stores and laid off a vast majority of its employees in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
